50 ways to live a healthier life

Hi there, I know it’s been awhile. I’ve been in baby world, caring and loving on my two little guys. I do believe however, I am back and ready to write to you again. For the first one back, I’d like to share some lessons. Every year, at the end of the year, I sit back and reflect on what I’ve learnt from the past year. Then I take what I’ve learnt and apply it to my upcoming year. This year I thought I’d share what I found on ways to be a healthier being to hopefully inspire you to live the same way. Let’s begin now:

  1. Drink plenty of water.
  2. Sleep 7+ hours a night
  3. Go for a walk by yourself somewhere beautiful.
  4. Take an art class.
  5. Go for a jog.
  6. Go for a walk.
  7. Spend more time with those you love.
  8. Spend less time in the office.
  9. Stretch.
  10. Read a good book.
  11. Go for a hike in the mountains.
  12. Sit in front of a large body of water, be it a lake, ocean, or sea,  and ponder how large life really is and how much opportunity you truly have. 
  13. Travel internationally.
  14. Volunteer your time.
  15. Do a random act of kindness.
  16. Take a killer workout class.
  17. Take a yoga class.
  18. Visit a new town and go to a mom and pop cafe there. 
  19. Try a new hobby.
  20. Eat more vegetables.
  21. Consume less sugar.
  22. Fast from your phone for 24 hours.
  23. Fast from the internet for 24 hours.
  24. Use essential oils.
  25. Moisturize your skin.
  26. Don’t wear too much makeup, it covers up your natural beauty.
  27. Spend time with yourself daily.
  28. Meditate or pray.
  29. Go somewhere new once a month.
  30. Create a monthly budget.
  31. Go for something you’ve always dreamed of doing. 
  32. Rest and recover when you feel you need it.
  33. Write in a journal weekly.
  34. Add nutrients like chia seeds, flaxseed meal, Ashwa Ganda, hemp seeds, and MCT oil into your diet.
  35. Dress yourself in a way that makes you feel confident.
  36. Organize your life, starting with your closet and food pantry.
  37. Help someone in need.
  38. Play hooky from life and go somewhere fun.
  39. Take a drive with no set destination.
  40. Practice good posture. (you just sat up straighter didn’t you?)
  41. Write a bucket list and start marking items off.
  42. Indulge yourself every once in awhile.
  43. Listen to music that fuels you.
  44. Kiss your kids daily and tell them you love them.
  45. Don’t listen to the nay sayers if they’re not in the trenches with you.
  46. Go for a run in the rain.
  47. Save money.
  48. Sit aside time once a year to reflect and plan for the future.
  49. Floss.
  50. Walk barefoot in nature. 

Now take 5-10 of these and start implementing them into your life. Then come back to this list and pick new ones to do. Life is too short to be living with your head down, lift up your eyes and live with intention. Live like you give a shit. Live with love.
